2 sets in my last 1k hands both of which were tonight. One I flopped a set vs a flopped flush and I didnt improve. 2nd one I flop set on 3 club board, I bet and everyone folds

I limp UTG with , SB makes it $2.50, BB calls. I make it $10. SB calls, BB folds. Flop is . Checks to me I lead $15, SB CRAI for $35 more. I call he has Q turn K river .

Down another 2 buy ins. I knew I wasn't going to run at 33 BB/100 forever, guess this is the correction. Nothing has gone right the last 2 sessions. I flop a pair everyone folds, I CB when I miss and someone CRAI. Tough 1k hands.

I don't think I won a hand bigger than 10BB;s in 300 hands. Sets the last 1300 hands have been a losing adventure. Can I please go back to running good, I don't wanna lose everything I won on that good streak.

Got back to my winning ways plus 6 buyins tonight at $50 NL. Kinda hard to even see where it came from, I didnt flop a lot of sets. Maybe 4 or 5 in 800 hands none of which lead to big pot wins. A couple dontations are always nice.

I was thinking about going back to poker tracker though I'm not sure if its not broke why I'm trying to fix it.

Poker tracker is nice and all.... I find it really helps me if I'm trying to figure out my leaks, but it also makes me a little lazy at trying to keep a mental stats chart on my opponents. If you aren't hemmoraging money on stupid stuff don't even worry about it.

Rdale yeah thats pretty much what I've been thinking. Since bodog only allows you to play 3 tables at a time I now have a large library of notes which has been quite helpful. I think if I start using PT I probably wont take notes anymore and I risk getting lazy about actually getting my own reads on people.

The funny thing Roy is I actually dont think I am running that hot. I remember that month that you ran super hot on Cake you said it felt like you hit every draw, flopped every set. I really dont feel that way, there was one day where I did have a huge rush but other than that it doesnt feel like I'm running that amazingly well. I also am not running bad which helps I have sucked out a couple of times(which is really rare for me) but on the flip side I have also had more than my share of suckouts and a couple nasty cold decks. I haven't flopped a huge number of sets. A lot of my winning have come from donations, there are a ton of just god awful players at $50 nl. I have gotten all in preflop with AA a whole bunch of time for full stacks which is really really rare for FR. My CB have worked with amazing success, I have been really aggressive preflop and my CB have taken down a ton of pots, I am pretty much the only full stack player that is willing to fire 2 shells. A lot of the tight players fold to a second shell since they aren't used to people willing to bluff flop and turn. Also these $50 really give away their hands with their bet size. I have stolen a ton of pots from players who a weak bet means a weak hand. I have notes on like 1/4 of the players on Bodog "weak beat = weak hand, Float me or raise my weak flop bets."

I keep saying I should move up, but my experience at the $100 FR games have been pretty NITtastic and I'm making about $10 per table hour so I think I may stay here and ride out this little hot streak, if I wanna play $100 I think I would rather play 6max on cake.

I love moving up, the constant cold decks, the constant hot poker sensation to my testicles. Actually come to think of it it kind of reminds me of being a CS major at UCSD. This quarter is almost over and thank god. With the fires closing school for a week, there has been a major crush the last 2 weeks to finish projects. Of course the dean swore that with the fires professors were going to cut out course work not try to cram extra work into one less week. Ummm right maybe there are different rules for CS.

This week has been really awful, my operating systems project has been really really time consuming, that and I got stuck with a terrible partner, I actually had to move to a different lab so I could work away from this guy because I got the irresistable urge to punch him. The porject turned out to be a minor disaster. Everything that this guy swore worked didnt and the other 2 of us got to fix. He took the code for one of our data structures off some website, then when it didnt work he couldnt fix it and I got to write a priority queue from scratch the day before the damn thing was due. This project was supposed to be written over the implementation of another project we had done. Well we turned in verson 1.17 of the first project and this idiot started our new project over version 1.10. Then proceed to try to blame me that I hadnt given him the newest version when I turned it in. Of course the version he used was a week prior to the first turn in so it didnt work. This guy also has the worst code style I have ever seen. He named his variables stuff like int forUseHere or *void c trying to debug his stuff was awful. Thank god I never have to work with him again.

So back to poker

I raise from button to $4 both the blinds call as does the UTG limper. Flop is , checks to me I bet $12, only the SB calls. Turn 9, he checks I bet $30 he calls again. River K, he checks again. I push and he calls with fucking 88. Christ I always find the best CS to bluff

I am double stacked after flopping a set the hand before and getting a stack from TPNK. SB covers, and MP has $100. II raise from the button to $4 with . Again 3 callers. Flop is 8 . Checks to MP who lead $5, player in the middle calls, I raise to $$35, sb calls. Limper calls. Turn sb leads $15, MP calls. I push, sb think for a week and calls, so does MP. MP had KQ no heart, SB has 5. River is the [Kh}.

Nice 5 min of poker, I should know better than to play when I'm stressed, I think after the 2nd one I may have broken the keyboard tray on my desk.
