I was going to play a couple tournaments today, I registered for the 5k on bodog, decided to play a $25Turbo, first hand I raise JJ moron min raises one caller, I pump to 500, min raisor folds, other idiot calls. Flop 644, villian pushs, I call he had TT, T on the turn. Yeah I think I'm going to go play live in SD fuck this online BS.

Well I guess this is a bit of a good winning streak. Today was a really weird day, I started at the village club in chula vista. I played there for a couple hours, ran ice cold, the games were awful. We played rock tight house wins for a couple hours I lost $88 and left.

Next to Palomar in North Park right around the corner from where my girl lives. Very odd day, flopped 2 sets, one of them got sucked out on by the short stacked moron, the other got no action from the one good player at the table. I made what I thought was a perfect bluff. Flush card hits on the river, guy makes a weak lead, other player calls. I raise $100 more, just like I would with a flush. He says he cant fold and calls with his str8. At this point I am down to $80, I only brought $600 with me total and I am not about to hit the ATM and pay the $22334324 23 fee. So I flop 2 pair and double up. I then get in my straddle, BB makes it $43 with $70 left. I decide to put him in, he snap calls with AA. I flop a K, turn another, nasty but I'll take it. I then piss off the floor man but calling his river bet with A high and catch his bluff. I then go on a little rush and all in all end up $358 total for the day. Gonna play again tomorrow and then in LA Friday and Saturday. Hopefully I can keep this good run going. I really have been playing well, I made a couple really good calls. I am playing much more fearless with my chips and to this point it is paying since my reads have been pretty good the last couple days.

Poker really is a crazy game, I was trying to explain it to Jess tonight. She came and watched me play, she is at the beginning stages of learning how to play and likes to sit behind me and watch me play. When I run good and things are going well, I wanna keep playing. Its like being in the zone in a sport, you feel like nothing can go wrong and you desperately want to hold onto that feeling. Hot streaks dont happen as often as we would like and when I feel one coming I wanna ride it for all its worth. Plus my BR could really use the help.

Yesterday was one of the craziest days of poker I have maybe ever played it was like 3 sessions worth of decisions and hands all rolled into one, and of the lagrest roller coasters I had in a while.

Hand 1: 3rd hand since the table opened I get KK in the straddle I raise to $26, one limper calls. flop is 432r, he leads $20, I raise to $100. He smooth calls. Turn is a j, he shoves for $170 more. I fold, he tells me later he has A5 but refuses to believe that I folded kings.

Hand 2: I call a short stacks raise with flop is T98, he leads $30, I put him in for his last $50 he calls with AJ and hits a 7 on the river.

Once again stuck a buy in before anything good can happen.

Hand 3: Guy to my right from the KK hand is killing me. I call his $20 raise with 77, shorty moves in for $45 both are loose bad. Shorty repushs for $150 total. I decided to fold but am pretty sure it is the best hand, and of course I'm right, shorty has KQ, pusher has AQ.

Hand 4: I am the BB with really bad lady dealer, min raises UTG, I call so do a couple others. Flop is K , she leads $20, bad player from KK hands calls. I bump it to $100, she calls all in, he calls also. Turn 8, I shove for $100 more and he shows a flush draw, thinks forever and folds. I really thought he would have called since there was already $350 in the pot.

Hand 5: Bad dealer has reloaded again, she has $100. I limp the CO with AQ in a straddle pot, bad dealer lady makes it $26, decent player and bad player from KK hands call. I reraise another $100. She calls all in with AA others fold, unilke the previous day I am not lucky enough to crackem.

Hand 6: I have TT in the blinds, lady dealer makes it $20 to go, 2 players call. I look down at TT, none of the players have more than $100. I raise to $100 and all three end up calling. I have , lady dealer has 88, bad mexican guy from KK hand has A5, other guy has 8. Really a pretty good spot more me, only dodging 7 cards. Flop is 9 turn river ship it. Everyone of course whines about how unlucky they got. Standard

Hand 7: I have on the button and limp. Flop is , checks around to me, I check my gutty. Turn , Checks to the button who bets $15, I call, so does crazy guy to my left, young kid makes it. $35 total, lady calls, fuggg ok priced in, crazy guy to my left calls too. River I check, kid pushs for $200. Lady folds, I call, crazy dude folds. Kid tables T3 for 2 pair.

Hand 8: I get AA UTG and make it $25 and of course get 5 callers. Flop is A[ Tc] , bad Mexican dude to my right pushes for $130. I just call everyone else folds. He has T6 and is drawing dead(well unless you are MBuckler).

Hand 9: I get QQ UTG I raise to $25 and get 2 callers. Flop is KJ3r, I check and it checks around. Turn 6, I lead $30, maniac to my left calls. River brick I check, he best $35. I call, he tables K8

Hand 10: I am the button with I call in the straddle. Lady dealer makes it $20, 3 callers to me, I call to, so does the SB $100 in the pot. flop is . She shoves for $80, rock black guy calls. He is a good player and the only thing I can put him on is a set. I think for a little while he has $1000 back and I have $700, if I hit a card I might be able to get it all. I finally decide to fold. turn is a , river is . Dude tables . This could have gotten super ugly, if I see this turn he bets, I raise he pushes I obv call with the nuts thinking he has a set. He hits his free roll on the river and it costs me $700.

Hand 11: I get QQ utg+1, I raise to $20, 2 callers to the old rock who is in the top 10 of tightest players in the history of existence. He brushes the dust and cobwebs off his chips to make it $120, LOL I muck. He is also an asshole, and says "I knew you had nothing." I respond "no I just knew you had to have aces." We go back and forth a couple times, I call him a rock, make a comment "at least he finally got to find out what it likes to put more than his blinds in the pot." Fun times, and a little stress relief.

Hand 12: I am now the BB, UTG young bad player opens to $50, he starts the hand with $150. Black guy makes it $150, we are both $700-$800 deep. I think for a couple min, but from the first second he reraised my gut was saying fold. I fold, UTG has JJ black guy has AA. 5th time live I have folded KK preflop and so far I am 100%.

The next 3 hands are all in a 20 min span

Hand 13: I have JJ in MP I make it $25 and get 2 callers. Flop is 4. I lead $50 only the LAG to my left calls. Turn is , I check, he bets $60, I call. River , check check. He has ATo, next time an ace on the rvier would be awesome.

Hand 14: I have QQ OTB, black guy makes it $15, one caller, I make it $50. He calls, flop is K . While his 3 betting range is super minimal his opening range is pretty wide, so I lead $60 and he folds.

Hand 15: I call a raise from LAG to my right with 77, flop is 972, I check, he checks. Turn 3, I bet $15 he folds.

Hand 16: I am the button with . Black guy makes it $20, we are both 900 deep. I call flop is K66. He checks, I check. Turn T he checks again, I bet $20, He calls. River T he checks again, I bet $30 thinking I am value betting. He raises to $75, my gut tightens up a little. I decide I have to call just in case he has a T but this is more of a crying call than anything. He tables KK, guess it could have been a lot worse, though it would have been an amazing time to have TT 300BB's deep.

This was one of the craziest sessions of poker I have ever played this was like 3 sessions worth of hands in 5 hrs. I folded QQ and KK preflop within 3 hands, I flopped 4 total sets, 3 in less than 3 rounds. I didn't really get paid real great on any of them. Days like today make me realize why even though I am successful playing live I never want to play for a living, the stress of all this would send me to an early death. I was totally and completely burned out after 5 hrs of poker. The GF passed the first step into getting into the best nursing program in SD so we celebrated by getting sushi and getting hammered. Getting drunk was exactly what I needed but I dont feel so great today. The Gf was able to get the day off work and wants to watch me play today, but honestly Id rather do something relaxing.
