I run bad, it just keeps happening. I brought Roy along this time because.... well honestly I was hoping that some of whatever he is on to run so hot would rub off on me and in this case to have a witness to how shitty I run. I even managed to get bad beat by fucking mapquest, telling me to turn on a street that wasn't off the street that it said it was. I run bad at life today.

Table as Roy said in his journal was insane to start. He posted 2 hands that were just insane. Unfortunatly the 2 complete morons broke really quick and left and we were left with different type of bad players, a bunch of tight bad players. I really just run bad.

Roy has been raising his button/ my blind with freakin anything and I'm waiting for a spot to 3 bet him. I get TT he makes it $20, I make it $60. Grumpy old man who limped now makes it $155 and has $250 or so behind. He limped in MP and then 4 bet. I really have no idea WTF happened, as best I can figure it he limped a monster because Roy had been raising his button so much, then got a gift when I 3 bet. Either way I folded, so we will never know.

Next hand, I get QQ otb. Roy makes is $35, I make it $100. SB pushs for $300ish. Roy calls, I just call figuring at least this way either Roy or I will win the pot. Flop is J high and Roy bets $300. I actually put him on a set of jack and folded. I know he wouldn't bet into a dry side pot without a big hand. He has AA and the other guy mucks.

My one necessary session cold deck for teh session. For once Roy actually limps so I make it $20 with . Rock in the BB raises to $40. I call. Flop us A7 . She checks I bet $50. She looks unhappy and calls, I kinda think she has KK at this point. Turn is an 8. She checks again. I bet $100, she push for $190 more. I get that usual stinging in my ass when I know I'm beat but cant fold . I'm getting better than 3:1 and I'm praying she is a donkey with AK of course she has AA and I'm drawing dead.

I raise $20 with get called 3 ways. Flop us J 8. Checks to me I bet $30, SB who is really bad mins to $60, I call. She has $700 behind and I cover. Turn is a 6. She leads $100, I call. River is a J grrrr. Dont know how much she was gonna bet but she is loading up a 2 handed bet and I fold. If I hit turn or river I stack her almost 100%.

My one flopped set. I limp in Mp with 22 flop is A32. I bet $20 and its folds around.

Roy makes it $30 from MP, I call with A . 4 callers other than me. Flop is . Roy bets $100. I call turn brick, check check. River brick, check check. he has Q . Roy cant miss a flush draw but somehow when I need him to hit he cant.

Worst turn and river possible. I limp with Adams hand OTB. Flop is QT8. Checks to me. I bet $25. SB calls. Turn is J. Check check. River is a K. Nice freakin board, I cant think of hand I can possibly beat that calls my flop bet. He has KJ for a bigger 2 pair.

I am really running bad, I know I keep saying that but fuck. I just cant hit my sets in a raised pot or hit a draw when the idiot prices me in perfectly and will pay me off if I get there. I have flopped 3 sets in my last 55 hrs, 1100 hands or so. In those 3 I havent gotten any money past the flop 2 of the 3 times. I just cant hit a draw when I need it.

It was a lot of fun playing with Roy he is a good player and fun to play with since he is so aggressive preflop he loosens up a tight game, the tigh bad players have no idea what to do with him. Though I really don't want to ever be to his right. Hopefully if I'm not broke we can go back and maybe I can run a little better. This is a really really beatable game, even after the donaters left.

I have been over the AA vs 78 hand in my head about a million times since it happened and I talked to Roy about it a bunch at the table. What really sucks is I don't think I can play the hand any different. This lady makes a min raise preflop which I expect her to do with 4 maybe 5 hand AA, KK, QQ AK and maybe JJ. Combined Roy and I (90% Roy) her blinds had been raised 90% of the time and usually when that happens weak tight bad players find a hand to make a stand with. I went with my read on the flop, when she called my flop bet she really didn't look happy, so I put her on KK, QQ. She still called so my thought is she doesn't believe me that I have an ace and she is right. Now I make 2 pair on the turn and I now can beat the hand I put her on but there are 3 Aces, 2 kings and 3 2's that kill my hand and the way I'm running I'm happy with the pot as it is now so I try to protect the hand. When she CR me all in it really feels like a set of aces. The problem is its $190 to win a $810 pot. She only has to have played AK this way 23% of the time for this to be break even. Definaly going to behind more than ahead but I think the call is correct long run. I really wish this girl had bough in full, if she has $800 behind it makes this an easy fold.

I really have been cold decked a lot lately, what has been killing me is I havent been on the good end of anywhere near as the bad side. Those should even out over time, I keep hitting draws when my implied odds are small and the times when I can stack someone I cant hit. In this game, I raise the button with after the pot is straddled. A guy I've played with quite a bit calls with AJ the flop comes J . AJ leads into me $50 I consider raising as he thinks I'm a rock and actually asked me if I had QQ. I decide to just call thinking he may have smooth called with AA or KK. As I call he grimaces. The plan is to put in $150 on the turn unless a big card comes off. Turn is , I bet $150 he says your Queens are good and folds. I didnt need to hit my draw to win this pot, I just need to dodge a A or J and my bets wins on the turn anyways. Now the 910 hand, this lady is really bad tight, she prices me in the whole way and I get her stack if I hit and I miss. The same thing has been happening with sets. I have probably been flopping half as many sets as I mathematically should be and when I do I am not hitting in raised pots when I can win a big pot. Instead my sets are coming in limped pots and no one else has anything to pay me off with. Poker is all about timing and I just haven't made hands in the spots that can get me paid. Also live poker there are a lot of donaters, people who are going to lose their money its just a matter of time. The problem is lately that these players have been donating to everyone else at the table and not to me.

rhound... most of the weak-tight players i've seen do not do a delayed crai w tptk period. 23% of the time is you talking yourself into a call. maybe online (maybe), but very unlikely v a weak-tight live player.

maybe you had the image of a lagtard, but i'm guessing that roy had that lead role, and you probably weren't seen as that target.

i'm just sayin'... i could be VERY wrong.

anyway, tough beats on getting cold-decked... the money will slide your way sooner rather than later.
