I think this has (mostly) been a great thread. The one thing that bugs me is the speaking in absolutes. We should all know better than to say "all heroin users become junkies", or "all drug users are bad people". After all, would you say that it's ALWAYS best to limp-reraise with AA when UTG? Of coure not.

The answer to the orignal question is of course "it depends". I personally wouldn't because there are other women out their that don't use heroin and I'm afraid of what might happen down the road with the casual user. But if you think she's something special it's certainly worth seeing her again and persuing it a little. I would just keep all of this in the back of your mind.

I also request that this thread NOT be locked unless things get way out of hand. This is going pretty well I think

There have been more personal attacks here than I've seen in many other threads, and by more than two members.

This is a very controversial topic and there is much to be discussed, so I don't agree with the thread being locked. However, everyone should restrain themselves from making personal attacks - they are not helpful.
