I think I have an open mind, I don't equate bush to hitler or stalin, but I do think he has been a REALLY bad president. I'm only 27 and am no history buff, so I can't really say he has been the worst president ever.

But here's why I think he sucks: I can't think of a single thing that he has touched that hasn't turned to $hit. On top of that it seems as if 100% of his domestic policies have been motivated by rhetoric and politics, and not by anything approching sane policy. All politics. All bullshit. No policy.

1) I dont hate Clinton. I just have zero respect for him

2) I have lied about sex, but NEVER under oath and Im not the friggin President of the US, so I can lie if I want to. Clinton is a felon. He committed perjury and we all know he did.

3) Do you know how many people close to Clinton died under suspicious circumstances during Clintons time in office? If memory serves, there were at least 4. They were witnesses to some of his questionable dealings including WhiteWater

4). Every time there was an investigation into something Clinton did, someone died. Why was the man investigated so often? Hes a crook.

People dont go around every day looking to trump up charges against honest people no matter what party they belong to.

T-Rod, you couldn't be any farther off base, my friend. I look at his Presidency from a journalist/historian point of view, with a degree in one and a lifelong love of the other. I have a pretty good idea where his presidency will be placed, and it will be down there with Harding, Hoover and some of the lesser lights of the 19th Century. He's made a complete mess of it, and anyone with any perspective can see it. He's taken this country in the wrong direction at every turn. You can't get it more wrong if you flipped a coin on every decision.

We had enormous good will after 9/11. Every country in the world outside of 2 or 3 Islamic extremist states were sad for us. Had we gone full force into Afghanistan and rooted out al Qaeda, the world would have applauded. We squandered it all.

We invaded a sovereign nation on false evidence and turned it into the most violent place on the planet. Before it's over, more Iraqis will be dead than Saddam Hussein murdered in his entire rein of terror.

We have no credibility anywhere. We have no friends. We have nothing to bargain with, other than our seemingly reckless will to go someplace and fight.

Our middle-class has been decimated.

Our rights have been trampled upon.

And he's "staying the course" with Cheney and Rumsfeld, even when his own party would be happier if they were gone. Our military is so thin we can't reinforce Iraq. We're trillions of dollars in debt. Everyone is afraid of what's coming next. Consumer confidence is lower than whale-droppings. And nobody knows what to do next.

Yeah, I guess he'd rank right up there with those sterling Presidents I stated. Hell, he's even worse than Jimmy Carter, and I never ever thought I'd live to see that!

Bush would have to improve to be ineffective.

iceman, all I can say is DAMN!

In 1970, a family of four with a father who works and a mother who stayed home was the standard American family. That guy is now making 30% of what he was then. Mother works, and they still struggle to make ends meet.

Most would agree that the middle-class ranged anywhere from $30K to under $100K. Most would say a family of four cannot get by on $30K and the family making $100K may have trouble getting their kids through college.

An average American home now is somewhere in the neighborhood of $300,000, and the median income is less than $50,000. I was taught that you should spend no more than 2 1/2 times annual income on a home. Do the math.

The facts can continue, but I think you see the drift. While you may not be feeling it, there's a sense of wellbeing across the country that overlooks one basic fact. Most Americans' entire net worth is in their home, which may be worth far less than they think.

Has this administration shown any interest in the middle class?

Just a little factual nugget for all of you who like to think Bush is an uneducated dumbass.

Him and Kerry both went to Yale. Guess who had the higher GPA? Bush did.

Another interesting fact. The uneducated bush is the only President to ever hold an MBA from an IVY league school. (Actually I think he's the only one to hold an MBA period).

Funny how not being a great public speaker opens you up to having people label you stupid.
