Fine, you loathe him. We know that. (I thought it was the Dems who were supposed to be driven by hatred and anger, but whatever.)

But tell me something. Do you honestly believe that Kerry, a combat veteran, intentionally, during high political season, made a crack about how uneducated soldiers are? Do you believe that anybody actually believes that is what he meant to say?

Or are you willing to admit that the Republicans are just pretending to be outraged by this?

I am willing to admit that this would happen whether the author of the remark was a good politician or a bad politician; a democrat or republican. He made a mistake, and the knives are out for him. honestly, I don't care what he meant, I'm glad he flubbed it (I seriously doubt he would ever say anything like this on purpose). Anything that damages his reputation or career makes me happy.

And the fact that he served his country 'honorably' as you say is very much in dispute, ask the hundreds of vets who served with him. The fact that he 'served' then came home to propogate the fact that US Soldiers were' murderers and rapists' is not something to be proud of in my opinion. I hope he fades away to a life of shame and irrelevance with his horse-faced "bride".

Professor, it doesn't concern you in the least that most dems are calling for him to apologize? If Bush flubbed a line like this (despite his history of poor public speaking), do you think the libveral media or democratic candidates would give him a break?

Never.

Which is why I'm glad about this. Couldn't happen to a more pompous and hysterical windbag son of a bitch. Good riddance.
