I dunno, but here's the kicker...it's a WAY bigger footprint to go the biofuels route because the windfarm required to power the equivalent number of cars that a corn farm is WAY SMALLER...biofuels are far less efficient than wind.

So, the 'cost' would be negative: it would be BETTER to go wind, than farming.

Lol...did you read what I wrote? Corn is the principal commodity used in producing biofuels! Instead of the huge corn fields being used for biofuel production, only a small fraction of them need be replaced by windmills...and guess what? You can farm AROUND them! There's no food shortage in the US, and there wouldn't become one since the 'corn' farms being replaced aren't being used for food anyway.
