Alright, I'm coming around on this, but in reality you obviously weren't a 7.5 to 1 underdog - you were actually a favorite since your opponent likely had AK or something.

Different question: Let's say a short-stacked opponent raises to 5xbb (with only about another 20 or so behind), but another opponent calls. Do you add their stacks together when deciding whether or not to call?

Sometimes. But its less likely that youll be able to win a big pot since the caller likely doesnt have a big pair that he will overplay like preflop raisers do.
