Not only do you not want to give a free card here to someone on the flush draw you want to replicate moves you will make from that position often. In this case you have a set which is a great hand but in many others you will be betting with snow and picking up the pot in LP as well.
This is why I practice what I preach and lead out with a set on a junk board. I do it because that's the same play I make with nothing in the blinds when I think the board missed everyone. In poker, NL in particular, you have to telegraph your moves in a way that you apply constant pressure to weakness (them checking to you) and you play monster hands in a way thats conistant with your normal steals, continuation bets, TPTK feeler bets etc. The point is to keep people guessing about your hand and second guessing themselves so they don't know when to make a move. This is a key element in my game and it works very well.
