I'm with you Ice, although I had them in a teaser with a previous basketball game so I got Pitt at +2.5 :D

I also have quite a bit riding on the under (47).
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.

I don't have a favorite team in this game as anyone who read any of my posts here during the regular season knows I'm a Cowboy fan, but the fans and reffing so far definitely seem to be on Pittsburghs side. That goal line call saying Rothlesthsburger (LOL, just how the hell do you sprell that guys name anyway? :D ) got the ball across the plane was a total travesty of justice. The game should most likely be 3-3 at the half. As for one team dominating the other, I had figured it would be Pitt over Seat but so far it has been just the opposite. Other than the one long pass Big Ben (much easier to spell) had less than 50 yards passing in the 1st half and they have yet to show a running game. 2nd half should be interesting to say the least.

I would say that the ball touched the plane of the goal line but didnt go over. It was so close I dont think there was any way they could overturn it.

BUT...I dont think theres any way Seattle would stop either Bettis or a QB sneak when all they needed was 1/2 an inch. Theres no way Cowher wouild kick a FG from that close.

Pittsburghs defense is playing great but there offense looks like shit so far. Seattles defensive line is playing great. Their pass defense is their weak spot so hopefully Pittsburgh opens it up and starts throwing in the 2nd half.

It's really a shame that the refs are trying to play such a big part in this game. The holding call to keep Seattle from having 1st and goal at the 1 was total bull as was evidenced by the replay but not challenged. I don't know if they can even challenge something like that. Then to call that blocking below the waist penalty in Hasselbeck when he is making a tackle after the interception was just more than I could take. Why do the ref's not just let the guys play ball when it's such a big game? They are taking a game that should be close and making it obvious who they want to win. Or at least it appears that way.

The reverse pass for the touchdown by Pitt was a really good call and I commend them for that one. Other than a couple of piddly little calls against Pitt early on though, Pitts offense has not been hurt by the officiating the way Seattle's has.

I can't watch this game anymore.

This has to be the worst officiated game in the history of football. I give Pitt credit but I think these refs should never be allowed to work another game and the league should look into whether the refs have some money on Pitt.

Looks like your double or nothing bet was the right move Iceman. Well done. Now please go do your civic duty and go arrest those officials for their crimes against Seattle humanity. :D

And put them in a cell with the biggest cellblock coxman you can find!

First of all, I would like to say that I predicted the exact score of the Superbowl, so I feel like God right now.

Secondly, with that TD, I personally think the ball hit the plane, however even if it didn't there was absolutely not enough video evidence to overturn the call on the field.
