I honestly think that although Alexander is a top 10 RB, most of his numbers come from Seattles great O-line. Through-out the last couple years it really is amazing how big the holes he gets. I like speed backs, guys like Parker who don't fuck around and just hit the hole and run as fast as they can, Alexander likes to dance too much. I think our back-up, Morris could put up the same numbers as Alexander and he's a better receiver. He's so fast and I got to watch a lot of his games when he was in Ore. and that guy can break every arm tackle.

Also, once again, the refs should never be allowed to work another game. They had more of an impact then either team.

I dont understand the comment on the overturned fumble. If the officials didnt see see the defenders hand touching him, the knees etc don't matter. Its a fumble.

JD, why dont you compare Bens and Elis total career numbers. Its night and day. Roethlisbergers career passer rating is about 100. Im guessing here but I bet Elis is about 74.

Of course the Steelers have a incredible team which has helped take pressure of him so early in his career, but come on. He put the Steelers on his back against Indy and Denver.

When I say the best playoff run in history, Im talking about going on the road to Cincy, Indy and Denver back to back to back and beating them all convincingly. Those arent just playoff teams like Washington or TB. They were 3 of the top 5 teams in the NFL this year. Nobody has beat 3 teams that strong all on the road in a playoff atmosphere...EVER.

Stealth....there were 2 holding calls both by the right tackle. One was worse than the other. Im not sure which was which, but one was VERY blatant and the other was not so much so.

And refs make mistakes. How about Polamalu's INT getting overturned even AFTER seeing it on replay? I guess that ref was betting on the Steelers also? Randle El just about got tackled on a long pass in that Indy game and that didnt get called either.

Ice, I don't think you can accurately compare 2 QBs from different teams and systems like that, and definitely not after 2 years. I am not a big fan of Manning yet and might not ever be, but I have to say the same about BR. I don't think either should get too much credit (or lack thereof) for how their teams have played. Geez, Bob freakin Greise is in the hall of fame and he was freakin horrible, but he has 2 Super Bowl rings, so he must be great? Not even close.

Of course, if I was an NFL QB, there's no question I'd want to play for the Steelers with the coaching staff they have right now. They deserve a lot more credit then they get.

I dont think theres anything wrong with Manning. I think hes progressing at a good pace for his 2nd year. Ben played badly in this game and he played subpar in last years playoffs, but throughout his first 2 years and the 1st 3 playoff games this year, he showed the poise of a veteran and made some of the most incredible pin point throws Ive seen. he didnt just shop flashed of brlilliance. He was brilliant most of the time and showed a few flashes of being inexperienced.

Whats hes done in his 1st 2 years is almost unfathomable. Last year when Maddox got hurt, the Steelers were 2-1 and my best friend called me and said "oh well, the season is over for them. I dont care how good a team they have, nobody can wiin with a rookie QB". The Stellers didnt lose again in the regular season and that is just unheard of. Sure the team had a hell of alot to do with it. But most rookie QBs are going to cost you alot of games. Look at Chicago. Theyve got a pretty damned good team, but they cant get by with the QBs they have. If Roethiliberger was on Chicago, they wouldve won the NFC.
