preflop, toss the QJ in early position w/out a second thought. it's a bad hand.

nothing wrong w/ the flop bet, but when you get raised, you have to decide whether you are going to play for all your chips (you're going to find yourself in this spot a lot when sitting w/ a half-stack). personally, i would fold on the flop b/c you made a strong bet, got raised, and all you can really beat is a bluff. i also fold on the turn.

I completely agree with you guys... which is why I was not the Hero in the hand but the CO

I had [Qd] [Td] ... giving me a flush draw with a gutshot. I put him on a pair of Jacks and expected him to fold the turn bet. But of course he called and the river was a blank and I lost. I calculated the odds and as long as the "hero" folds 19% of the time with top pair, then pushing is a break even play. Against any solid players (such as you guys) I would have only gotten called by two-pair or a set. Which I did not put him on because he checked the turn with two flush draws and str8's out there. And the times I am wrong I still have a 24% chance to suck out. I think a fold there could be expected atleast 40% of the time making this a profitable push. So I am not too upset with myself.

At these low limits I need to get back to playing straight forward poker. I would love to get called all day by TPNK when I get all-in because I should have it beat. I got use to the high limit games where I would usually get a fold. Why did I have to spend/lose my entire bankroll. :x

I am not qualified to answer this but take it for what its worth. What about making that play on the flop instead? Why did u not take ur free card? Did you know this guy was a calling station? I guess u didn't.

If u are gonna push, i thought the flop was the place to do it. But I am too wimpy for that. I would have checked behind on the turn and hopefully he would pay me off anyway when i hit and value bet.

half the point of raising on a draw is to see a free river when you miss the turn. you can take that free card here....the turn didnt do anything to reduce your outs.....you're roughly 3:1 to hit the river and you get that look for free.

Wow - that guy called an all in bet on the Turn with TP only. Got to love him. Make notes that he will pay you off. Next time bet it if you have it and take a free card if you can.

I assume that this was Party? At Full Tilt on the NL50 tables most players would fold their TP in this spot to an all in push.

I have been very careful to make notes on calling stations since they will cost you chips if you try to bluff them or simi-bluff as in this case.

For instance.

I raise preflop with KK and the flop is an Ace, I bet and get called by A3, Turn and river check check - this player got notes.
