I decided against giving up 12 points. Thats alot of points when both teams run the ball alot and it figures to be a short low scoring game. The Steelers played very sloppy and obviously looked past the Ravens. Good thing we escaped with a win, because theres no way they can lose to Balt. It just CANT happen.

Sometimes these divisional battles are close even when one team is much better....they play each other so much that there is a familiararity and the game gets very physical...
Also, bad teams are sometimes contagious (this is especially true in hoops but can also have an effect in the NFL).

Atlanta will run all over Miami. And since when has Miami been tough anywhere? Not since Marino left

Is anyone reading this? I am on quite a roll you know. Amyone betting any of these games?

For this week I like

NE -3 vs Miami. Miami really sucks. You have to watch one of their games to appreciate how bad they are. NE will not fall below .500.

SF +13 vs Chicago....Chicago can barely score 13 points.

St Louis +7 vs Seattle....This is always a close game. They are division rivals which usually leads to close games even when one team is quite a bit better than the other. Seattle is good but StLouis should be able to throw on them with Bulger back.

Cleve +8 vs Pittsburgh. Im not betting this game because I dont bet agaisnt the Steelers, but thats alot of points to give Cleveland considering that Batch is playing QB ( well, hes standing behind center anyway). Pitt will look to run the ball and run the clock out. Last week they looked like a heavyweight boxer who is ahead in points and knows he cant lose unless he gets knocked out so he just covers up and doesnt punch back. Pitt isnt even trying to score with Batch in there. I pray the defense wins the game again but I think 8 points is too much.

I made 7 picks this week, as well as 2 big parlays (prolly -EV but kinda fun). I agree with your St. Louis pick but didn't make any of the others, but also didn't bet the opposite way on any of them.

My other picks are:

Broncos +3
Redskins 0
Dallas +3
KC +2.5

I also bet over 44.5 for the Colts vs. Texans and Dallas to win.
