I'm always down for a Vegas trip, let me know when it is and I'll be there.

The Vegas deals are uauslly for double occupancy right? Is there a way to book one of those deals for 2 people in the same room who are coming from different places?

Downtown Vegas

Let's all go to down town Vegas for Iceman's birthday. I will be there. We can arrange a special tournament with one or two tables at Binion's or the Plaza. Down town is great because you can walk back and forth between poker rooms game shopping. High rollers can stay at the Golden Nuggett. Mid rollers at Fitzgeralds's or the Four Queens and lower rollers...me...can stay at the Plaza. Check out their web sites for room rates, reservations. All have 800 numbers. There are small tournaments several times a day or night at the three best poker rooms downtown. There is great no limit all levels of limit down towhn.

Iceman and Tet can donate a trophy and some merchandise maybe. We can select a central place like Binion's downstrairs or the Plaza breakfast buffet to meet.

This sounds good, what do you guys say? D

I wouldnt mind going downtown for a private tourney if something like that can be set up, but I prefer to stay on the strip most of the time.

We could arrange poker rooms rates...at the Plaza $38 week days. If we had a group coming, the poker room manager would help us all get rates. You can get your rate lowered after you get there. When is your birthday?

I am fine playing downtown but I am not really a big fan of staying downtown. I am also not a big fan of walking around downtown at night fremont street is ok but the rest is a little shady. The last time I was in Vegas I made friends with the poker room manager at the Sahara and he gave me his card and told me he could hook me up with rooms. The location of the Sahara is not great but if you guys want I can see what he can do. A private tourney sounds like a lot of fun. Let me show off my live game skills, and be the first on Ko'd on a stupid bluff.
