Come on MVP lets be honest you would be happy if a 60 year old toothless hooker would take you in, but I guess if you wanna dream why not shoot for the moon.

Hey monk, for good cheap places to stay, I usually stay at the boardwalk. Easy/close parking, walking distance from the Bellagio, MGM, and Mirage. It isnt the nicest place in the world but how much time do you play on spending in the hotel room.

I stay at Barbary Coast- right there on the strip across from bellagio and about $100 a night, even during busy times.

It would be really nice to meet you guys. From LA I'm just a drive away, so I'm probably in. But I would come for the week-end, get there late Fri night, return Sun.

Have a few drinks, play some poker. Sounds good. I don't think we would end up at the same table though, because with my bankroll I won't play 5/10 :).

Maybe we can all enter some cheaper tournament if there's one around. I don't know what it takes to organize a private BTP fun tourney.

Hey monk, I usually use Vegas.com for booking rooms, they have a specific number of rooms that they book at a set price, so you dont have to worry about getting overcharged for booking late.

Sounds good.

Basically it's dependent on whether I can get a bit of time off work, have used a lot of holiday on fixing my apartment so we'll see. I will pencil it in though!

I made most of my bankroll playing NL and played limit to make ends meet for a few months back in 2003 - just have to remember how  lol.

When I play live in england (a rare thing these days, admittedly) it's almost always NL.

Im very close to booking my Vegas brithday trip. Im going from 1/23 thru 1/26 and I'll probably stay at New York, New York.

Anyone else getting closer to confirming that you'll be going?

i'll find out about 12/6 if the group of people i normally go with will be going. If not, i might go out with my one friend during that time and I will have more flexibility on the days. Otherwise it would be arriving Weds night Jan 25th and leaving sunday night Jan 29th.
