I could ALMOST fold this but not quite

$50 NL at Bodog.

Hero has [6h][5h] and limps in from LP. Multi-way pot, about $3.

Flop is [9d][8d][7h]. Pretty! :)

UTG bets $2, gets two calls, I raise it to $8, UTG calls, EP folds, MP calls.

Pot is about $30. Turn is [8h]. I'm thinking that card was very bad for me. They check to me, I check behind. I'm hoping for a miracle straight flush card of course.

River is [Kc], a blank. UTG bets $10 into the pot, MP folds. I make a crying call because it's just 1/3 of the pot. But I can feel in my bones it's a milking bet. It's big enough to be a bet from a big hand, but at the same time it's clearly a bet that wants to be called. He shows his [9c][8c] for the turn full house.

I feel like I should have folded the river after the board paired on the turn. Agree? Disagree?

It's just 10 bucks but it bugs me. I had this read and didn't follow it.

Thoughts?

Given the 4:1 odds to call the river, you have to make this call. You only need to win 1 in 5 to be even, or in other words you need to be over 80% sure you are beat to fold. I really think you have to call with the straight.

no, i call. nothing wrong with this with the odds you are getting and he could be betting a lot fo hands that you beat. I get the same feelings too but you are ahead enough times to make it a call.

no way to fold this for 10$, if you loose, too bad , good odds and you do have a big hand after all , but that's just me
better luck next time
