Villain shows
Flop is a
and no 7 - I have had it for the day and quit.
At least 4 times I have had the best hand and got out drawn.
I flopped a set of Queens once and won. I flopped Ace high straight and won a small pot. I had pocket jacks 3 times and won once. I had Aces once and won.
My question is - are these bad beats or bad play? The variance in a $200 NL is win or lose $600 - today I lost $800.
I am thinking of quitting. Comments on my play - I played for 5 hours and there were more hands. I mostly missed every draw that I tried for except the Straight above. I either win a small pot and lose a big pot.
and flopped
it goes check, check
and showed which helped my table image. lately, mostly I win small pots and lose big ones - yesterday AA and the guy flopped 2 pair. He was short stacked and I called his raise.
