- Hero is UTG+1 with $127.81
- SB has $25.00
Preflop: I have
UTG fold, I raise to 2.5, folds to SB who calls, BB folds.
Flop:
SB bets $2.00, I raise to 8.00, SB calls.
Turn:
SB goes all in for $14.75, Hero calls.
This table was very passive (average pre-flop raise was around 2) so I didn’t think a limp raise was appropriate.
SB is a calling station. He doesn’t play that many hands pre-flop (VP$IP of 36) but he doesn’t like to fold once he enters into a pot (W$SD 32). He is also very passive (Total agg: .4)
On the turn obviously I don’t like him betting into me but there is now 21.5 in the pot and he is pushing all in for another 14 so I am getting better then 2:1 and I really don’t think that a flush pushes there. This player isn’t very tricky so I think that if he turned the flush he would check and let me continue the betting. QJ is a posibility but I don't think it happens enough to not call here.
Everyone always says not to pay off a flush chaser but in this case he has a short stack and I don't think he has the flush. What do you guys think?
