Is the SB a bad player in general?

I'm trying to think about what's going through his mind. This has to come up about one time in a million. How on earth would a typical player bet a rivered nut straight flush on a paired board from out of position? Heck, how would I bet it? I have no clue.

Maybe I would push, just out of excitement at having such a great hand.

Jeez. I probably call this and expect to lose.

Also, if he had the straight flush, wouldn't he bet lighter not wanting to scare away profit? I'd say he has the low-medium flush looking to scare away a higher flush.

maybe he flopped a set and figures he has enough to make you fold with a bet

Ugghh.....I guess I should have called. I sat there til time expired contimplating on pulling the plug from my computer. I didn't not only because it's cheating but I really wanted to see a straight flush or possibly a royal.

This hand makes me sick. I don't usually let poker effect me that much, but I couldn't sleep last night thinking about it. That had the possibility to be a nearly $450 pot and I folded the winning hand. After that hand I logged off and haven't had the slightest urge to play since.

Jarren... just for the record, its only 50 pushups to prevent tilt and 100 to punish bad play.

I did lose a monster pot once with quads to a straight flush (and there were 4 cards to the straight flush on the board), but theres still not a snowballs chance in hell Im folding four of a kind.

The odds are just as good that the SB has the as the . Just based on that alone and not knowing what the cutoff is going to do, youre getting 2:1 to call when its an even money proposition as to which high diamond he has.

If this was a no max buy in game and my entire bankroll was on the table, I might consider folding quads to an all in on this board. Short of that, Im not folding.

Yikes....I wouldn't have laid it down even if I were in the cut off and it was bet then raised for my entire stack.

First off, I'm still betting that turn as most people will still draw on a paired board which makes the river much easier as the pot is bigger and you have less to call. However, I am not folding quads on that river getting those odds.
