(I'm thinking of old shows like the A-Team, or James Bond movies, where the Villains have automatic weapons that comically fail to hit anybody, ever, except maybe for a strategically placed wound to a leg that can make the hero's escape that much more dramatic. What is the real number like, in these wars?)

And yeah this'll probably turn into another argument about whether the war was a good idea in the first place ... but it'd be cool if it could, you know, not do that. This is just a post about estimating numbers.

Lol I'm gonna guess everyone is low and go with 1 million here, automatic weapons can get pretty wasteful.

edit: damn just googled it, the answer is not 1 million, makes the real answer seem better in comparison, on another note it takes us roughly 100 times more bullets per kill now than it did in Vietnam...at least according to some random website

does this include all insurgents ACTUALLY killed by a bullet and only those? cuz I doubt a huge majority die by bullets
