I am going to a basketball game today with a friend-o-mine.. it's the last game of the playoffs in Croatian Bball championship.. Should be quite tite cause "Cibona" is playing "Zadar" and they are like The rivals when it gets to basketball... also, people from Zadar and around that city are quite insane...

in poker.. i am at $620 ... yesterday, I was at $760 ... no big deal.. work it out and it'll come... just got 4 of my sets crushed by gutshots.. that's a lot of sklansky's for me... also, i have noticed quite a few tighters and nits at pacific... have to stay away from them and won't tell about pacific to anyone else...

just got back from the basketball game... i actually just finished showering cause I was wet to the bone.. the game will be played tomorrow do to some fuckUP they had, and Zagreb is currently being overrun by lots and lots and lots of rain.. needles to say, when I went to the game, it was sunny and I went with my bike.... it was all in all disaster that I will remember forever, and that alone makes it totally awesome... I'll go again tomorrow since it's game 5 of the playoffs and it's a tie 2-2 right now... gosh.. I hope we win cause I just can't stand those pricks from Zadar and their so called fans....

i was at the basketball game and Cibona won by 38 points.. so they are national champions now which is nice.. the game was cool but on the stands, it was hot as in hell, still it was well worth it... after I came back home i played some poker...2 notable hands..
i have $33 and OOP 3bet to $3.75 a relatively new guy who raised to $1 from BTN.. I did it with [Kd].. flop is Q high and we check till river where he bets $1 and I call to see what he has... he had [Jh]... I didn't CB the flop or anything cause I felt this guy will call me, and I 3betted not to get pounded if I check to the guy... prolly it was a wrong thing to do but i had no reads on the guy yet...
another hand.. next orbit.. this time, I am in position and guy raises to $1 again, I 3bet to $3.75 again with [Kc]... flop is K high and he check/calls my bet and c/r AI my turn bet... I called and he had [Ks] for flopped top set and I was done...i realized that this guy wouldn't do this without AA or a very strong set here, KK most likely.. he wouldn't do it with AK cause he is not that kind of a player and he wouldn't even call my 3bet with AQ I think...

anyway... couple of handslater I FINALLY SUCKED OUT ON SOMEONE REALLY REALLY NASTY... I had [Jh] OTB and raised to $1.25... got a call from BB.. flop is 23Jr.. guy checks, I CB $2.25.. guy raises to $4.50, I reraise to $9 and he pushes.. i call..... i guess that i was on major tilt there cause normally i wouldnt even consider this line... anyway, he had [2h] for flopped set... so now as I was thinking how stupid I am and looking at our hands, turn card comes and river comes ... so I get my runner boat... lol.. that's prolly my biggest, stupidest suckout EVAAAAAHHHH... and I love it more then I hate it... ... i said sorry to the guy and he was totally cool about it prolly thinking that I am MajorDonk and will give it all back to him... i stabilized and didn't do anything stupid for some time after that and then my computer finally died on me again so I just stopped playing for the time being....

just a quick braggy, feel gut update on my current Pacific status..

my pacific roll right now is : $881

i was just re-reading some old parts of my journal and I realized that my first deposit on Pacific poker was on May 19th ... meaning, today is exactly one month since I play there..

so...I deposited $200 ... got $50 as bonus, played NL10 and one month later I am playing NL25 and have $880 on the site... hefty profit of $630 by playing NL10 up to 450$ and the rest on NL25 ... running hot? ... sustainable?

no idea what's my winrate...
i don't use PT now since I am at pacific so I have no real way of knowing what it is.... I know that over small sample of about 2000 hands that Jossnaz has on me I was winning $130 and had something like 13ptbb/100 ... and he has the sample where I was on a 2 day up/downswing....
I will take it for granted and say that at pacific on average I have around 10-14ptbb/100 ... i think I put in only around 500-600 hands a day.. I only 2 table right now and I have a RAM problem so it's fucked up if I open 3 or 4 tables.. also, I feel comfortable at 2 tables right now.. and yes, I try to select my tables based on the players that are known to me as donks that I have notes on....

Red, you're running better than average I'd say but its very sustainable to make $600+ a month on Pacific @25NL. I made over 1k in a month @ Pacific not so long ago, though I was on a huge heater.

As soon as I have cleared my bonus on FTP I'm heading back over that way. Have donked off most of BR on rebuy flipaments at Stars lately, started playing cash games at FTP and whaddya know, am winning again.

Have conceded that MTT's, SNG's and luckaments in general are not for me.
