I think Bill Maher's show is far superior to the daily show. Not saying I don't like the daily show.. I like it a lot. But Bill Maher is the shit.

It would be interesting to just have 100% Jon Stewart...THEN you could compare the two. Since Maher had 100% his own show, he wins But, as is, it's not a fair fight. Thnx for the link, that was a really good clip.

Actually, I used to watch Maher back when he was on late night on ABC. He had a show that ran for a few years, pretty much close to what he does now...commentary, guests. I am a fan of Jon Stewart, but really the 'Senior Correspondents' make the show funny IMO. They had a really good group for the past 5-7 years, with Colbert, Carell before and now with Samantha Bee, Aasif Mandvi, Jon Oliver and the others. Mandvi is probably the best correspondent right now IMO. And then Presidential candidates past and present come on the show and Stewart makes fun of them.

Plus, it's hard to make a show funny for a week, but they pretty much do it...although the government does it's best to make sure they never run out of material.
