Why do you support a scottish club being from Yorkshire?... isn't that where Leeds is? (if I am wrong, I'll probably get for this)..

As for hating Chelsea, I guess it's just normal these days... I support them for like 13 years or maybe even a bit more... and being half-Russian, I am kind of glad Abramovich bought them...

I support a scottish club because that's where I'm from. I live in Leeds now but was born in Perth.

I'm a football fan, but we get so little coverage here that I don't follow as closely anymore. Basically, I only watch World Cup, UEFA, and the occasional EPL match. The MLS is kind of shitty IMO and I prefer to turn on the Spanish language channel and watch the Mexican league. As far as transfers go, I don't follow that. I was kind of surprised when I tuned into the UEFA finals and saw Seedorf with AC, if that gives any insight to my level of fandom.

I must say that I like Beckham. I think he is (particularily used to be) a good player. He is also good at PR, so he gets an enormous amount of publicity, as you say Monk. But football is entertainment and he got that. I actually get more annoyed when Paris Hilton gets all the publicity for just being stupid and rich. She cant hit those crossballs.
