It included pictures of him brandishing his weapons, 1800 words or so of text, and a video of him speaking to the camera. Such tragedies happen in europe too.
What I realized about them in europe:
The person running amok always had a close relationship to weapons. Either he was doing sports shooting or his father had firearms in his cupboard and used to go shooting sometimes with him.

If you never had a weapon in your hand nor have the possibility to get one - you'll simply not think about going to university shooting around like an idiot. This is the bottleneck which needs a cork - problem solved.

And yes - this cork will never find it's way in america.

The swiss military securing a military base used to have loaded weapons -> accidents happened like shooting innocent or curious things like cows. So the guards securing ammo or whatever aren't guarding with loaded weapons anymore, it simply wasn't worth it. What a peaceful country
