You guys have a fugged up society and i dont have any tite magic recipes to solve/ease thoe problems. It is not one of those cases where you can quote examples. It is a very unique situation. Mybe it has something to do with education. I think the US has the worse education system of all those countries listed by Danhdan (with high HDI) but them, the unabomber was very educated, and the theory suffers. Maybe it has to be with the huge amount of drugs in the wrong hands?

Here in DR the crime rates have gone up exponencially in the past 5 years. We passed from being one of the safest places you could think of, to some dangerous place (not so much, but still not safe) and i have to say that there is a correlation with the amoun of drgs in the streets. I had to go to the US to spend 6months when i was 21 to KNOW how an ilegal drug looked like. And i saw a few of them. And several times. And it wasnt something that people were hiding.I was shocked, and so was my cousin. The drug theory goes down when you think of other societies like Holland. Those fuggers are high like 24/7 (NIHAN waytogo ) and the crime rates are very low there, and so are in spain.

When i think and analize the US society I always remember a term that was in one f my favorite movies, Saving Private Ryan. FUBAR. Anyone remember it?

It means FUCKED BEYOND ALL RECOGNITION. American Society is FUBAR. The solutions are not easy.
