The only thing you guys seem to be against is the sums these guys were playing for. People are always posting about sitting down at 1c/2c and donking off a few bucks to blow off steam, or sportsbetting, which is -ev for the vast majority of people. All of that is harmless? I dont see the difference in smarts between a guy with a 10 mill roll flipping for 100k and a guy with a 10k roll betting 100 on his favourite team, or even spending $100 on something idiotic to look balla.

Let's put it this way:

If you still see nothing wrong with it in 20 years, then you will have a problem.

I would like to think I would rather spend 100K helping my family and friends or hell even donating it to a charity then I would just flipping for 100K

regardless of how easily you came by the money there are times when things happen that are out of your control. Trust me I have been there and went from doing very ok to broke and nearly homeless in the matter of months through no fault of my own

I assume they do it for the thrill and they do it public for the attention

It is there money so whatever but there will come a time when they will wish they didn't do it I would suspect.

Invest it, donate it, help others, hell donk it off at a poker table but don't just flip a coin for it.
