I don't understand all the hate.
It's kinda like rich people playing super high stakes blackjack. Do they need to grow up and consider their place in the greater scheme of things? Is it sad that they need to bet this much to arouse themselves?
Except blackjack is rigged against you. This is EV neutral for both of them, so it's better. Also they lose the money to a friend, not some silly casino.
