Curry for Xmas = very cool indeed (unless you're in the USA where curry = shit)

We had one the other night, but might have another tomorrow because our oven's broken Oh yes.

Merry Xmas and peace to all.

Curry is a generic term for Indian food that's made with chilli, ginger, onion, garlic, turmeric and many other spices and herbs. There are many different types of dishes, some creamy, some tomatoey (?), some hot, some mild, some vegetarian etc. People here have taken to it so much over the last 20 years or so that it's now the national food in this country. Don't you have any Indian restaurants in Texas? Not one?

Yes we have Indian restaurants and Indian curry is the most disgusting spice Ive ever tasted.

However, whatever spice is used on currywurst in Germany is one of my favorite spices ever. I could eat Currywurst and pommes frites every day. Actually i did eat in one or twice a week for 3 years.

Curry = Ass

True story:
When I was between the ages of 14-17 we lived in a 6-story apartment building. There were 24 apartments on each floor. On the 4th floor there was a single Indian (Pakistani/Bangladeshi/whatever) family in apt D, which was about 60 feet from the elevators (the buliding was a Y shape and the elevator was in the center). You could not walk on the 4th floor without holding your breath, or you would become nauseous from the smell of curry and/or Indian ass eminating from that apt. It was so bad that you could actually smell it if you were in the elevator and simply passing by the 4th floor on your way up to 5 or 6. I have never been around an odor that permeated like that, well, until the time a friend convinced me to try Indian food a few years ago. Then it all came back to me. Just plain disgusting is all I can say.
