Finally a good day with no uglyness. I played one hand that might have been borderline but it wasnt a terrible misplay.

I flopped a bunch (4) sets one of which was quads. I made a really nice read and stacked someone with KQ on a Q high flop when I had AQ. My AA actually held up twice one point flopping a set. My KK also held in a pretty decent pot for $150 all in preflop against AKd, he flopped a flush draw but bricked the turn and river.

The one hand in question I do want to put in here for my own records. Newish player asian guy has been pretty agressive, he has raised his button 3 of the first 5 rounds which happened to be my BB. I He starts the hand with $150. Again he raises his button to $20, I call flop is 875. I check he bets $30, I put him all in and he instacalls with JJ. Turn is a 10 making me Open ended but I miss the river. This was the first time this winter break that I have been all in and in bad shape.

Totals for the day 6.5 hrs + $849

Gonna take tommorrow off and spend the day with the girl, then play all day Sunday. Oceans 11 have a $500 promotional drawing every hour from 11am to 9pm on Sundays and I have played over 40 hrs already this week so maybe I'll get lucky and get a little bankroll booster.

Back when my friends and I first started playing in 2004, we were at Ocean's 11 til 3am about 3 nights a week (at the 1/2 limit, lol). One of the dealers jokingly started calling us "lifers".

Getting a big pair to hold up was brutal, but on the flipside you got crazy good odds to chase draws.

That same dealer called me the best 1/2 player in the casino. My win rate was $3/hr.

Short session today, I am getting over being sick and felt like crap most of the day so I played a 6.50 hr session won $500 and called it a day. I will post a couple hands later.

Ok so 12hrs sleep later and I feel a lot better. Hopefully that this is the end of my cold. So hands from yesterday. Played my usual solid game.

I am on the button with KQo. Flop is 9. Bet $20, I raise to $60, calling station cold calls from the SB, Bettor folds. Turn is . CS leads out $150. I am pretty sure he just hit his gutty. I show my hand and fold, and he shows .

Nice money card finally for me. I limp with AK. Flop is Q108 rainbow. Checks around.Turn is a 7, checks around again. River is a J. Pretty decent player bets $20, I push all in, thinking this is the prefect time for a overbet. He thinks for a while and calls with K9.

I call a $15 raise from the button with 77. Flop is 7, He bets $35. I make it $135, he pushs from $40 more, turn is making me quads. I was realy praying at this point that he has [10s] or . The bad beat jackpot at this point was 27k and 13.5 of that would have gone to me. He actually had TT with no spade and is drawing dead on the turn. He actually says "nice catch" which I found rather ammusing.

Final hand I limp from the button. Flop is J . Same villian from above hand bets $25. I raise to $75. Shorty who bought in for $100 pushs. Bettor calls I call. Turn is an 8. shorty who pushed had and misses his 2 outter on the river, other villian doesnt show his hand and stomps away.

Totals +$500 in 6.50 hrs.

Played again today and had another really good day. This follows my usual trend that once I strart playing live daily, I put together some nice winning streaks its when I play just a couple times or once a week that I have the ugly losing streaks.

First table, and the roller coaster of crazyness. I start bleeding of $50 before really seeing a hand.

First hand I play I get AA. Raise to $40 (yes its 13.3X BB raise at 2/3 NL) get 2 callers. Flop is 732. I bet $100 and get called, turn is a 3, I push and get called by 55, he miss's the river and I double up.

next hand. I amd the BB same guy from hand 1 raises to $10. I call after 4 others do including Dick one of my favorite players from last week. Flop is Q9. Checks to dick who bets $10, I call, so does PFR. Turn is the . Checked to Dick bets $60, I raise to $200 to put him all in PFR calls in the middle(dohhhhhhhh). Dick calls too. Dick has a diamond draw with of course PFr has A10 for the nut gutty. I dont fill up on the river.

Last hand at this table, a couple hands later. I limp on the button with 45. Flop is T43. Dick bets $10 again. I call so does one of the other table donkeys, turn is 5. Again Dick bets $50, I make it $150. The donkey in the middle thinks for a couple seconds and for a second I thought I may have run into another straight, he folds, Dicks calls all in with A10 and doesnt improve on the river.

So I change to a different table that is absolutely insane. The first hand I play there is an all in on a KQ982 board. On of my favorite donks turns over KJ, the other players turns over k3 and slams his fist on the table. Huhhhh?? It was a raised pot preflop from what I was told afterward amazing how top pair with a 3 kicker wasnt good in a raised pot.

Another hillarious hand. Raised pot preflop from donk #1. Flop is JTT, bet, Donk #1 raises all in for $200. Calling station calls with J7 donk #1 has 44. WTF. The whole table congradualtes the guy for a "great call." Unfortunatly I didnt really make and big hands right away and all the donkeys were gone by the time my rush started.

Either way I made one really sick laydown. (Pats myself on the back). Playing against a really weak tight player in the BB. He spend the whole day looking for monsters under the bed. I am the SB with . I complete BB checks Flop is A8 it checks aroundI. Turn is I bet $10 BB calls everyone else folds. River . I bet $25, BB pushs for $200 more. Alarm bells go off in my head. I know there is nothing he makes that play with I beat flush or no flush. I show him my hand and fold. He looks shocked, someone asks to see my hand and the dealer turns it over. He shows his hand to his buddy and tries to much. I ask to see his hand, and dealer turns over A8. I dont know if the he knew about the show one show all rule cause he wasnt to happy when the dealer turned his hand over.

AA goes down in flames, another hand I lost but really loved the way I played. I raise to $30 with AA in mp, button calls. I have $500 and he covers. Flop is JJ2. I bet $40 he takes some time and calls, at one point it looks like he is thinking about raising. Turn is a 8. I check , he bets $60, I CR to $160, he thinks about it and pushs. I fold my AA face up. He doesnt show but doesnt look to happy. He is a decent player and in the face of my CR he doesnt push with any hand that AA beats.

Some revenge for me. Same guy AA hand above raises to $20. I call wth 55 so does 2 others. Flop is KQ5 rainbow. Shorty bets $30. I just call praying for a raise. He makes it $130. shorty calls all in, I push over the top for $350 more. He thinks for a while and calls with AA. Shorty has AK and I win a $900 pot. This was a nicely timed set and the only one I hit today.

Totals for the session + $1205 in 9.5 hrs.

On a personal note, all my grades posted and I passed all my class's. Since halfway through the quarter they informed me I was on academic probation this is a huge relief.

Rnoob, dude thats harsh, but yeah school and poker really dont mix well. Both require large time commitments to be very good at.

Anyways another decent session playing 2/3 Nl at Oceans. The start and finsh wasnt so good but the middle part was ok.

Started playing LO8 and didnt win a hand, after an hour they moved me to NL. Another hour without winning a hand. Then uglyness. Iam the BB with KK. 6 Limpers I make it $35, 3 callers who all now have less than $200 in front of them. Flop is 752, I push, get called by 2 players one of whom had 75. Nice call preflop dumbshit. Down $400 before I won a hand.

Won a couple pots, I have $500 or so. I get AA in the SB. Dumbass on the button makes it $20. I raise to $60. Get a cold caller, and button calls. Flop is 2 . I lead $100. Cold caller calls again. Button raises to $200. He told me before the hand when I raised that he had a really good hand. So I'm guessing AK. I push, cold caller calls with button makes what he thinks is a tough laydown with KQo. Nice pot.

Flopped a set to win a nice pot. Then made 2 pair and flush draw to take $100 from AK who made TPTK.

Final hand of the night that is still bothering me a little. I am in MP with 44. Flop is 4 . BB bets $6, I raise to $25, tight player smooth calls behind. BB calls. Turn , BB pushs for $86 more. I thought he had a pair with maybe a big spade and actually asked him if he was on a flush draw and he said yes. I call, player behind then pushs. I fold her has [10s] . Not really sure if I could have played this that much different. Button had $500 and I had $1200 so he probably thinks that he has implied odds to call with a flush draw. There is not much money in the pot so a big raise seems like a bad play. THs bad part is the BB pushing with As 3 trapping me in the middle. I think when I get home I'm going to post this in the AG section.

Still a decent session + $485 in 5.5 hrs
