I really doubt it would do anything. UCSD is a reasearch school, and they really could give a rats ass about undergrads, we dont make them any money or get them grants. Last year a group of students tried sueing one of the colleges in UCSD over a writing class. The class in question is a requirement and there were no A's given and only a few B's. The parents sued lost and nothing was done to the prof or the class structure. This guy has been "teaching" here for 10 years and everyone knows he sucks. The problem is the other 2 profs that teach the same class suck too. This is a class taken only by CS majors, why they need to abuse us in EE is just another stupid UCSD thing. I guess since we are ranked 13 in the nation for CS we should get killed by every class we take. The moronic part is as a CS major we really only need a basic understanding of circuits why they have a PHD in EE from MIT teach it seems stupid.

i graduated from cal a few years ago in forestry. it sounded cool when i was 18 and i wanted a job where i could live in the mountains. the first 2 years were the same track as pre-med, which was torture. all the "weeder" classes were at 8am. wtf do i need to explain organic chemistry to a logger? undergrad experience seems like a joke sometimes.

the only joy me and my slacker buddies ever got was kicking ass in one of these classes so some wannabe doctor has to go to med school in mexico...

Fucking hell, is it possible to take a final and not get the urge to hit someone after. My latest one, love when a prof tells you "My goal for you for this class is to get a general understanding of XXXX." Than procedes to give a final that is amazingly detailed. It is freakin bio 10, biology for non-bio/chem majors. Thank god I have a 86% going into the final and can get a low C an still get a B in the class. Fuck UCSD.

PS Yeah the schedule of having a final from 7-10pm and then 8am the next day, did I mention fuck UCSD.

Hand 1:Table donkey raise to $15. I call a $15 raise with flop comes . I lead $30 into the raisorm who bumps to $75, I push, thinking he prolly has an over pair and I' a fav against an over pair. He call and asks if we want to turn them over. I saw sure and turn over my hand. He very proudly turns over A6. I manage to miss all 18 outs and down goes buy in #1.

Hand 2: Same idiot from hand 1, he has managed to lose all my money plus his orignal by calling all in with a flush draw and then calling off $150 on the river with 99 on a AQ443 board. I raise from the button this time to $20 with , donkey calls so do 2 other people. Flop is 882 with 2 hearts. Checks to me I bet $75, donkey calls. Turn is a 3, again he checks, I bet $100, he pushs for $100 more. I call and he has 98o. Bye bye buy in #2.

Hand 3: I call a $20 raise with in a 3 way pot from the button. Flop is 6 4. Checks to me I bet $40. PFR calls, turn is a . He checks again. I bet $60, he calls hmm flush draw? River is an off suit jack and he bets $40. I make a crying he has .

Hand 4: Table idiot now has $80. He raises to $20, I look down at 88 I call from the SB, so does BB., Flop is 754 rainbow. I check planning to CR allin. Checks around turn is a 3. I lead $50 get called by the BB. River is an A. I check BB checks, he turns over Q2 for the wheel. I mock him for his catch and he says he was open ended, I think he is to dumb to realize that his OESD actually made a straight on the board.

Hand 5: I call a raise from the button with flop is A 6, Villian bets $25. I decide to just call, turn is a . I bets $25 again, I raise to $75 he calls. River . He leads $50 and I call, this was a bad call and a hand I should have gotten away from. Guy turns over , nice 6 outter.

Hand 6: I get AA in the SB raise to $30 and get 3 callers. Flop is KJ7. I bet $75, villian #1 pushs for a total of $120, shorty is all in for $30. Turn is a brick, river is a 6. Villian 1 has K10, villian 2 has 67 for 2 pair and wins a $$250 main pot, I pretty much break even on the hand.

Hand 7: I raise from the CO. Get called by both the button and BB. Flop is . I bet $25 and get 2 callers. Turn is a blank I bet $60 and button calls. River is a . I check, villian checks and turns over . I had a pretty good idea he was on a club draw the reason I bet the turn was because I thought he has an A high flush draw, I should have fired the river but I chickened out.

Hand 8: I am the BB with donkey raises to $15. 2 callers to me, I call also. Flop is . I chek donkey bets $20, both players call. I push, first 2 players call, 3rd player calls off his last $60 with KK, I miss all 15 outs. The one time I made this play on a draw, every other time he is drawing to 2 outs or less.

I did have a couple decent hands, I flopped 2 sets though I really didnt get paid off on either. Flopping top set when you raise KK or QQ is tough to get paid off. My set of Kings turned into quads which was kinda cool but the guy who called was on a draw so it was going to be hard for me to get paid off. Not a nice start to winter break, today was losing session #6 in a row. After looking back at my records, this is the first time in 3 years that I have had 6 losing session over $100 in a row. The games are really beatable which is the good part, I just need to run better and stop getting sucked out every time I have a big hand.
