I have played with UTG before and he plays his made hands strong. For example-- he re-raised PF with KK, flopped a set and bet strong on the flop and then overbet pushed the turn. (i had a smaller set). Because of this I put him on a draw or weakish hand (TP or worse) because he wouldnt min-raise such a super draw heavy flop. So my TPTK must be good. I raise big expecting him to fold a draw with insufficient odds but then he pushes. He is a pretty good player (25/14).

i would rather call the initial minraise and lead out any non-[h] turn.

My guess is you're up against a draw trying to push you over. Even if you're ahead are you willing to risk it all with such a marginal hand. Perhaps a call instead of reraise is in place to see what shows.

I think you're better off with a preflop raise and a lead on the flop.

I don't see how calling this reraise on flop should even be an option, It doesn't seem with this guy's stats, that he would limp with smth like 26 of hearts or 89o UTG. I still say fold is a better option because TPTK in an unraised pot on such a board where you're behind even against KhQh seems pretty mediocre to me.

After reading the posts. I agree that calling the flop then leading a non heart turn is the best line. I will however give the pot away the times villian has Jx and the heart comes. But it would create the best EV against a draw. Also if he does have say KJ and i lead the turn he is likely to call, but if i re-raise the flop he probably mucks.

Also, I was super confident in my read. I have seen him bet strong with big hands many times and never seen him play them weak ( i have over 1,000 hands vs this guy) . I knew he would not min-raise 2-pair or better.
