When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

This is so 2p2 a month ago.

You have a completely neutral coin. How much money would you be willing to bet with someone on a flip of it?
Up to $500 or so if it's a one-off, on a regular basis the most i'd flip for is about $100.

How about a 100 sided dice where you have numbers 1-51 and they have 52-100?
Anything up to $1,000.

How about a 100 sided dice where you have numbers 1-75 and they have 76-100?
Again is this a one-off thing? If it is, probably like 80% of my BR (so if i lose i don't have to drop to ridiculously low stakes to build it back up). That said if the offer is unlimitedly available i'd borrow money and be a billionaire.

How about a 100 sided dice where you have numbers 1-49 and they have 50-100?
Eh. Get me drunk enough and i'd do it for small sums of money (<$50) but that would just be for fun/to show off my disregard for money to others who might be impressed with it.

How about playing Russian Roulette. How many chambers must the gun have for you to be willing to pull the trigger for the following: $1000. $10000. $100000. $1000000. Whatever your net worth is (that is you double your net worth or die from the bullet).
6 chambers - $1,000,000,000.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

If we're allowed to do it iteratively I guess something like 10 bucks or whatever. Maybe less. I don't have enough money to make a pretty certain profit doing this, I don't think. I imagine you need to cast that die several million times to be pretty sure of a win, and obviously you'd need to have enough money to make busting a virtual impossibility.

Basically I don't think this would be worth my bother.

How about a 100 sided dice where you have numbers 1-75 and they have 76-100?

I would probably bet $10k on this in one throw, maybe a bit more.

How about a 100 sided dice where you have numbers 1-49 and they have 50-100?

What's the point of this? I don't like gambling, waste of time and I don't find it at all exciting.

How about playing Russian Roulette. How many chambers must the gun have for you to be willing to pull the trigger for the following: $1000.

We're talking a pretty enormous number of chambers. Over 10k probably. That amount of money makes practically no difference to my life so I wouldn't want to take any more risk than the combined risk of driving to and from work for a week or two.

$10000.

I guess I'd risk a coupla thousand chambers. Maybe 1000. No less though, I don't think.

$100000.

100 chambers. Might go as low as 50.

$1000000.

Not going below 50 for any amount of money.

Whatever your net worth is (that is you double your net worth or die from the bullet).

Again probably 100 chambers or so.

And for FREAKIN' HELLS' SAKE, "dice" is a plural you mongrel.

I would not bet $1

For $1k, i would need at least 1,000,000,000,000 barrels
For $10k, i would need at least 1,000,000,000 barrels
