allstar, do you have kids? I don't recall whether you do or not, but I'm guessing you don't. If you did then calling a mother that lost her son a kunt is probably not something you'd do very often. Maybe you're an asshole and you would, I don't know.

You are right, her son did voluntarily enlist and we have no idea of his reasons for doing so. Could she be a little irrational about losing her son? Hell yes, as would almost any mother.

But you have to admit there is a difference between losing a son in say, Normandy in June of '44, and in Fallujah in the past year or 2.

Just because someone enlisted in the armed forces does not make them completely dispensible at the whim of the President. I'm guessing that would be her issue (or at least one of them).
