Some fascinating stuff guys.
Summary for those who don't like to read lists: confused yin and yang.
1) My greatest fear growing up in Dallas was that my parents would move, and I'd have to make new friends. Terrified.
2) Between 18-23, I moved to LA, NYC, Washington DC, and sailed on a ship that circumnavigated the globe. I somehow ended up back in Dallas. Fear over I guess.
3) Before I am 40 (35 now), I am going to Antartica and Australia because they are the only two continents I have not visited.
4) I have an undergrad degree from Georgetown in international politics. Not a math problem in 4 years. I have an MBA in finance from SMU. Every class was pure numbers.
5) I have broken a lucky 13 bones, but I can still bench press x2 my body weight.
6) I was so shy in high school that I didn't even dare ask anyone to prom, etc. By my mid 20s, I was going to Vegas every year just to talk to different women. Then I met Finagirl there, and she's currently sleeping 5 feet away. Hmm.
7) At work I authorized $3.5mm in checks in one day (last week actually). I've also fired 25 people in one day (not fun).
8) I'm 35, and have never been married. When I was in high school, I had this incredible internship with the Dallas Mavericks. That was the first year they ever hand cheerleader/dancers, and I ended up losing my virginity to one of them. Now, 17 years later, the Mavs are in the finals, I'm actually thinking of marriage, and my current girlfriend is trying out to be a Mavs dancer. I have a Mav-o-centric universe I guess.
9) I have driven a golf ball 325 yards. I also drove it 325 inches one time and per standard man-law, I had to walk to the ladies tee with my thumb in my mouth with my pants around my ankles.
10) When I was an undergrad, I was a finalest for a Rhodes Scholarship. During finals, my girlfriend was VERY sick and in the hosptial in AZ ( I was in DC). The doctors advised me to come out. I convinced every professor but one to give me an extension. That one professor was giving me a zeo. I went to AZ, my gpa took a hit, I lost the scholarship, my g/f and I broke up eventually, but I've never once regretted my decision.
