www.combatconditioning.com is pretty good. KCB mentioned doing hindu pushups and squats, they are the real deal and probably the best 2 overall exercises I have ever done. I have lower back problems and the hindu pushups have really helped that too. Some of the other stuff on the combatconditioning site is a little goofy, but the conditioning stuff is gold.

If there is a krav maga class available in your area I'd recommend that as well. Krav is what the Israeli armed forces are taught for self defense and it's the real deal. No belts or b.s. like that.

Okay, I've seen some posts about isolation lifts and what not and let me just say, do yourself a favor and stick to complex lifts, if you're going to be lifting weights at all. I know all the body building routines have you doing like 52 sets of 28 cable curls for awesome looking biceps, but please, stick to doing heavy pulling exercises like pullups, the various rows, and deadlifts. You'll actually get more of a size benefit than doing isolation lifts alone. I'm not completely against them, as I think doing lifts for fun is great for morale, but having a routine where the majority of the lifts are isolation is just not conducive to strength or size development.

Flame me if you will, but don't get brainwashed by the faggotry you read in Men's Health. Consult REAL trainers and read their articles before putting together and starting a routine.

My favorite:

Also, if all you want to do is condition your cardio and burn fat, google "Tabata Method". I do these 2-4 days a week, depending on how drained I am from MMA and they cut the fat right off your body. You can put together tons of exercises in a Tabata Method. Here is an example of what I do in the mornings.

15 sec - Body weight squats or Hindu squats
15 sec - V-ups (abdominal exercise for you people that don't know)
15 sec - Military push-ups or Hindu push-ups.

Rinse, wash, repeat for 4 minutes. It doesn't seem hard, but you'll be feeling it and your cardio will be blasted all to hell.

Also, google "Burpee Conditioning".

www.crossfit.com

It's all you need. crossfit.com is to working out as livepokerforum.com is to poker.

Every day they post a workout on their web page. The workouts are short, generally done in less than 20 minutes and VERY intense.

Navy seals, cops, firemen, the FBI use crossfit to train.

Check out: http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/start-how.html

The people that run it are very cool. Their web page has a ton of free info.

hell, this is their mascot: Image
