You're probably right, Euri. I should rent it and watch it again, but the thought of sitting through a three hour movie right now is more than I can bear. I've gone from owning three hundred DVDs to not watching a movie at all in six months. My time just seems so limited that if I had three hours to spare, I'd rather make a little money playing cards.
Glad you enjoyed it. Frankly, my favorite Sergio Leone movie is Nobody is still My Name. If it were on DVD, I'd be delighted. It's like he wanted to parody himself, then halfway through decided it was a pretty good story, got serious, and finished it off with a flourish. Just a damn good movie, and gut-busting funny at a lot of times.
I'd nominate it as Best Picture Nobody Has Seen.
