i don't believe in "hell" in the traditional sense. that being said, if there is a hell, i think we're living on it. that is, it will appear to be that way in any kind of "afterlife".
anyway, back to the scary stuff...
i've never been scared of sharks. don't know why. i've really had to battle with snakes, though. about 10 years ago i got to the point that i could make the snakes in my nightmare behave. no problems since then.
my personal hell would be to be unable to communicate effectively. for example, i can think and speak, but everyone misunderstands what i'm saying. hhhmmmm, maybe i'm experiencing that now. anyway, my grandfather had a stroke, and he could only say "shit" and "no", even though he very clearly could think. he could sing whatever he wanted to say, but had too much pride to do that. the comedy of my grandmother trying to converse with a man with a 2-word vocabulary still haunts my brain. anyway, i'm crossing my fingers that i don't have a debilitating stroke.
wwcrd?
