I called the chick, and she basically told me that nobody gets that package, and most of that stuff is thrown in anyway... Guess it's sort of a retard-detector ("Oh, I guess I need a fusebox, right...")...

The options I'm getting now are the prewiring for speakers, fans, and recessed lighting since I can't do it myself (or at least they say so... I did it in my house, but I didn't have a 3story house... I just used my attic crawlspace, which this won't have)....

I'm gonna get the laminate countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, as I dont think they're givin me a very good deal for an upgrade, and I can always change that out whenever I want...

Deciding between having wood floors put in, or doing it myself, as I did it here... It's kind of a pain in the balls, so it'll depend how much it costs...

Seb... these are preconstruction houses... It'll be built in October, so I can basically put whatever I want in it...

Anyone lived in a 2story house, that knows the functionality/niceness of a "pony wall"...??? I don't really feel like shellin out 5k for that oak rail, especially cause I HATE oak and would have to stain it...

If you think the wall is fine, it's fine by me... I've never lived in a 2 story house (much less 3), and didn't know any better... I DEFINITELY need some stability, as I tend to imbibe a LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTLE too much on occasion (daily), and wouldn't appreciate takin a 20 foot nosedive onto my nice pretty bamboo floor...

Right now I have pergo on my floor, and it cost me about 1.49 a SF, and I installed it myself... Any opinions of real v. Pergo floors???
