Pro-lifers do have abortions. In great numbers. I read about a survey that tried to figure out how these women squared actually having an abortion with being pro-life.

The most common rationalization goes something like this: "Those other women, the ones who aren't Christians/good people/Republicans/Texans/whatever, they are having abortions for no good reason. They're all baby killers. But I had to have my abortion, it was a really hard time in my life. So my abortion was OK. But it should be against the law to have abortions."

Literally dozens of women surveyed came up with some variation on the above.
