If I were a betting man on such things, I would say
Rudy is dead. Almost impossible to recover from that type of terminal honesty re: abortion.
McCain is dead. Almost impossible to recover from the pictures of him in a flak jacket (shades of Dukakis in a tank) -- surrounded by 100 marines + helicopters + gunships -- trying to pretend it was just a normal stroll and Baghdad is safe.

I dont think the Baghdad thing hurt hiim at all. He was already wounded.
The funny thing is, Michael Medved had some really good coverage of what Guilliani actually said about funding, and I probably agree with him, but it won't get covered correctly and may well sink him unless he does a 180.
The media is such a fucking drain on this country.

I do not thiink Hillary or Obama can win. I do not think a Mormon can win. I do not think Guiliani can win. That makes McCain look better. Right now, I would not bet unless I had to and I never have to. I am a conservative Democrat which means obsolete in Texas. I think McCain is wrong on Irag but I like him as a man.
