Beavis, I used to live in that district. It was heavily gerrymandered and looks very weird on a map. Ft. Myers is very heavily Republican, and they used that area to offset the Democratic areas of Palm Beach. The race was very, very close, and the Republican's name wasn't on the ballot. Foley's was. Yet, it almost went back to "Foley". That's a perfect example of how slanted the elections have been since the 2000 census. And YES, the Democrats have done it as well.

Gerrymandering is unconstitutional, I believe, but nothing can stop politicians bent on being bent.
