Here's what the "far left wing" site daily kos is proposing: Vote by mail.

Under this system, everybody has plenty of time to make sure their ballot is correct. No long lines, easier for everybody. Higher voter turnout. A good way to make sure there is no election fraud. A paper trail.

They're doing it in Oregon already. If you believe that everybody should vote and everybody's vote should count (you know, since we're a democracy and all), then you should support it. It should be a nonpartisan issue, with both parties making sure it happens, and soon.

But it won't be. Watch to see who actually does support it, and who fights it.

the problem is that they are already registered to vote in the state, but did not update their registration when moved and updated their drivers licence. He can still vote and then has 5 days to update his voter registration, this is all stuff people were supposed to be doing anyway.

If someone is moving to the state for the first, when you get your state ID card you can register to vote at the time, that is all part of the motor voter bill.

The democrats dont want people to show id because they have had a history of trucking in people bribing people and getting people to the polls that never registered.
