How much do you think that I can charge for this ?

1 - An address , on a south-american-online-gambling-friendly coutry
2 - A phone bill issued from this address
3 - A bank account for your gambling needs. ( you can cash-out from a local ATM )
4- A mail forward service

I do rent some flats in Brazil and I'm thinking about providing these "services" as an add-on. The Bank account is from a uruguayian bank, I can also try to use a Cayman bank ( more expensive ) .

If the fish don't come, there's no reason to be a fisherman.

When determining your price point(s), please make sure to include the following:

1. Legal costs associated with defending yourself from a class A felony in US Federal Court (we'll start with wire and mail fraud and add anything else that ED or any other of the 7986q8w9467 BTP lawyers can think of). I'm sure the US Patriot act people will like to make sure that your little venture isnt an Al Qaeda front, which might even land you a coveted spot in a little hotel in Cuba, I think its called Gitmo.

2. Bail costs associated with said felony, that is if youre lucky enough to be a.) granted bail or b.) granted a fair trial.

***this email is, of course, meant to be humorous, but I hope yours was as well. Otherwise what it looks like you're doing is planning a crime on the internet and asking for advice. Not sure many people will be willing to offer serious replies.

Well Cactus, What will you play now ? I will play at lower limits and downsize my bankroll but I will still need an operational account.

AllStar7 :

Maybe is better to forget about the bank account.

Theoretically, If you come here to enjoy your holydays and use the address to open a gambling account elsewhere you are not infringing any law.

BTW, I have 2 questions :

Why does an off-shore gambling operation needs to know where you live ? Can Poker sites and neteller-likes simply bypasss this question ?

Is it ilegal to disscuss how to bypass a bill that wasn't signed yet ?

Your "plan" to skirt the upcoming change in regulatory status by providing falsified or forged documents in an effort to misrepresent the legal address is certainly illegal. As far as discussing it, thats probably not illegal, more just moronic. No offense man, maybe you didnt know. But if you did try to sell these "services" my hunch is that 1.) no one would be dumb enough to buy them and 2.) if someone did buy the false addresss, you would likely be prosecuted by the proper authorities.

Maybe there is a BTP lawyer out there who can tell me if I have mininterpreted this so called plan?

I don't think it's illegal to discuss circumventing a law that isn't a law yet. But as soon as GWB puts pen to paper, it is.

Still, the point is that U.S. "fish" drive the poker online economy and they might be going away as a result of this bill. They won't go to extreme means to play. If it's hard, they'll just find another hobby.

If they and their money are gone, what incentive do the big fish or sharks have to work hard at playing poker online?

The fate of online poker seems to rely on a few things:

1) How will the Poker sites react to this legislation?

2) How will online funds transfer services react to this legislation?

3) Can a strong enough "Poker lobby" be created to convince the U.S. lawmakers to establish a legal way to play Poker for real money online?
