Thanks Caracas.... My novel, available free at www.johnnyhughes.com is more popular with the women. I am now writing another about poker players. It is fun because poker players are quirky, intelligent, and a hell of a lot more interesting that the average square John.

I only play poker after work, and I don't know how much I should tell others about it. You meet new people and say "Yeah, I also play poker on the side to make some money". Some people at work and my friends know I play poker, but otherwise I don't really tell people.

haha, poker is on my resume (along with ethics and hunting and fishing) under 'other interests'. I have never not had it come up/help it get me noticed and I have never had a negative reaction to it.
