Mets should crush the Dodgers. Although, as a Red Sox fan I can no longer go against any team that lets Derek Lowe pitch in the post season. He's a head case in the regular season but once it gets to October he turns into Orel Hershiser circa 1988. If I'm LA I start Lowe in game 1, then again in game 4 if I'm down 2-1. But he probably won't pitch till game 3 at the earliest. So mets win :)

I think St Louis did the same thing the past 2 years. They have such a huge divisional lead by Sept 1 that they take the month off. They were pretty good in the play offs the last two years. I figure they take this one too. prolly a close series though.

The Yankee's will crush the Tigers. The tigers have guys who are way too old or way too young. Even with a Johnson, a Wang and a Moose as their rotation, the 11 all stars in their linuep will put up 9 runs a game.

I give the slight edge to the Twins, Santana in Game 1 is a win, Santana in Game 4 or 5 is a win. Gonna be tough for the A's to win all 3 others. Also, the A's SUCK in the playoffs. They have since the mid 70's. Even that mini-dynasty from 88-90. They were the best team in baseball all 3 years but laid two giant flops in the world series. In 2003 they choked big time in round 1 of the playoffs, squandering a 2-0 lead. They aren't advancing but they will make it interesting.

Yanks beat Twins in 6. Santana can only pitch twice and the Yanks will hit off of anyone else.

Mets beat cards. They have the best offense of any team in AAAA, sorry I mean the National League.

The Subway series is intriging and I can't really call it until I see how the Met's pitching does without Pedro.

The Tigers will not win a game. Thanks for the generous thought though. ;)

Prediction: Twins over Mets for World Series

My favorite team is the Oakland A's though. So hopefully they can finally pull out a win.

Two most prominent rumors in NY right now are that Torre will be fired and replaced by Pinella. (WTF? Don't the Yankees have like 3 other former managers on their coaching staff who all thought they were getting the job? Bowa, Pena, Mazzilli) Second one is that a trade of A-Rod to Anaheim is all but almost done within the next month or so, but then again I hear a lot of bull that never comes through. Other high priced Yankees are almost untradeable.

Tigers did play well. They seemed to want that series more. Bonderman pitched one of the greatest games I've ever seen. Kenny Rogers pitched the best game I've ever seen him pitch. I'm impressed with this team and I thought they would give the Yankees problems, but didn't think they'd win. Congrats to the Tiger fans.

Congrats to the Cardinal fans too and I apologize in advance for the ass whipping you are about to receive.
