Pitched well. It's a shame we left a ton of runners stranded again but can't have any complaints really. Just have to hope that Suppan comes through tonight.

In a way it'd probably make for a better WS if the Mets make it, I really think we're the sort of team just made for the Tigers so we'd struggle, especially with Weaver and Reyes (both due their usual bad game about now I think) starting games 1 and 2 in Detroit...

It's been a great NLCS though. It'll probably be the best series of the postseason I guess. If the mets make it I guess It'll be because the less heralded pitchers who we'd have been targetting in our "must-win" games both pitched lights-out performances (Maine and Perez). Also because Pujols and Rolen have both stunk. Hard to win against the team with the best record in baseball when your two best hitters are struggling for form and consistency, and your 2nd best power guy (Chris Duncan) isn't even getting a game. I'd be tempted to move Spiezio to 3rd and throw in Duncan tonight, although it's tough to lose Rolen's glove and experience, he's clearly not fit to hit in a top 6 spot with his shoulder injury.
