I think it is silly and counterproductive to 'try to stop' illegal immigration. We have been 'trying to stopj' (lol yeah sure we have!) drugs for 35 years now. BILLIONS are spent on this endeavor, NO CHANGE.
Additionally, the government benefits from 'illegal immigration' just like they benefit from an illegal anyting (they have a monopoly on addressing illegal issues).
Don't you think that someone down at the social security office might have noticed something odd about meat packing plants that send in W2's for 400 people who all have the same social security number?
This is just another situation where the government wins (by screwing us) by 'fixing' the 'problem' of illegal immigration.
What business is it of the governments or anyone else's for that matter who I hire and how much I pay them? Address that issue and we will start to see why prohibition on the importation of mexicans is a government scheme.
If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.
