The West won, so there is effectively only one political philosophy. All there's left to argue about domestically is a few percent of income tax.

The death of real choice is the first step towards an inevitable totalitarian state. Justification for this will be the environment ("We have to act as one, or die"), terrorism ("We must sacrifice some of our freedoms, in order to survive") and law and order ("If we can prevent crime, we must"). Unlike the jackbooted regimes of yesteryear, the methods will be insidious and technology-based - camera surveillance, DNA databases, genetic fingerprinting etc.

Rhound - I got 2 outted in a $2000 pot last year, I have also broke a cup in half playing catcher. The feelings were similar.
