Depends on who gets nominated. Hillary most likely beats Frist, McCain probably beats Hillary, Bayh and McCain would probably be very close. Obama probably can't win but may tip the scales as a VP candidate.

If the GOP fields McCain I have a hard time seeing the dems winning. He's not tarnished by Bush, he's centrist and popular among the dems.

If the DNC decides to put Hillary or Obama as the front runner, good luck. Personally I like them both, but when even US women say they wouldn't vote for a women I don't think she stands much chance.

Is Condi black? Not so sure... I think she might be a WASP who suffered a tanning salon accident.

Some party should get Oprah to run, be it Reps, Dems, Libs or Envs.

The Democrats can't possibly win. They're too stupid.

Any ticket with Hillary or Obama in either position will mean certain defeat. This country is not ready for a woman or a black guy to be in either of those positions, regardless how badly it may think its current leader is doing.

Back to the stupid thing, the Dems won't realize this and will put one or both of 'em on the ticket. Mondale/Ferraro, anyone?

Maybe a generation from now it could happen, but not now.

McCain is my far-and-away favorite because he's a Republican and because he's actually intelligent and moderate enough to work with all parties for what's best for the country. Unfortunately, the current Republican party is far too extreme to nominate a moderate to the ticket.

Once it becomes clear to the Republicans that the Dems are going to do something stupid with their ticket, the Republicans will nominate one of their more radical members, knowing it would be a close but can't lose race.

That's my prediction anyway, using my typical, "what's the dumbest thing they can do?" approach, because that's what they always do...
