When dealer's count the cards in the deck a few times per shift, that impresses me. Most of them are just lazy and assume they are all there.

I expect a friendly greeting, even if it's simple. When a dealer sits down and says nothing, it's kind of a turn off. I want the table to be lively.

Dealers who are able to make upbeat comments about the game impress me also.

Uhm, I get pretty irritated when the dealer points at me and laughs when I lose. Yeah, that actually happened once. Young Asian girl.

The dealer that empathizes with everyone at the table are my favorites. Schuster got it completely right that a dealer should come with a quick smile in the beginning or a nice greeting, that is the most important thing. That first impression is so important...plus the fact there are usually people who only notice the first thing they see so often at these tables.

I have been at a table where a couple of dealers complain...and that pisses me off alot. I love my tables to be fun, and when they piss and moan, the table stop being fun.

Also, a FEMALE dealer with a huge rack is nice as well. But, I'm not close enough to FLB's to go every day dammit.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.
